João Luiz Orione, is the Saint of the Charity. he was born in Italy, in Pontecurone, near to Tortona, on June 23, 1872.

It felt, from small the religious vocation. And, he learned, early, worrying with the children's education and it helps to the poor.

He studied in the Seminar of Tortona, where it received the Priesthood in 1895.
He lived a sacrifice life to God, leaving behind sí a charity army with créches, asylums and orphanages.

Its work reaches everywhere where donation is needed, work, sacrifice and diffusion of the Gospel and of Christ's Love.
